Job Details
My client is an established Independent Planning Consultancy whose Bristol based office is currently seeking a Chartered Town Planner to join their dynamic team!
This small but growing practice has an established reputation for providing sound and impartial planning advice, skilled presentation and negotiation skills and a track record for achieving successful planning outcomes for their clients.
There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to take on their own case load of projects as well as assisting the Director on major schemes. The company is currently working on a wide range of projects typically in the residential, industrial, commercial and leisure and retail sectors.
Duties of the role
The workload will offer a lot of variety and will include research, planning appraisals, preparing and submitting planning applications, S106 negotiations, preparing Representations, strategic site promotion and five-year land supply, co-ordinating external teams where required, maintaining client relationships and being a valued member of the consultancy!
Candidate requirements
My client is seeking an MRTPI Chartered Planner or someone at Senior Planner level. The successful candidate will be confident in client liaison, project management and will have a good working knowledge and breadth of experience of local, regional, and national planning legislation.
