Osborne Richardson have an excellent role with a Local Authority in East London who are seeking a Heritage and Urban Design Officer to take responsibility for the providing specialist advice on conservation and urban design matters relating to planning applications and to help guide new developments in the borough. Our client needs an officer with proven technical experience of working with listed buildings to work alongside them and provide expert advise and guidance. You will be responsible for handling pre-application advice, applications, negotiations with developers, appeals and enforcement work.
Applicants for this post must have a post grad qualification in Town Planning and relevant post qualification experience in a planning environment of which a significant element relates to conservation. The team are working from home but you might need to attend the odd site visit from time to time.
This role will run until the 31st October 2022 and they are offering 35hrs per week, however they will also consider candidates looking for part time hours only.
