Job Details
My client is an established Chartered Town Planning Consultancy whose dynamic and ambitious team have developed a wide portfolio of national clients. The team have proposals across the whole of the UK, covering a broad range of sectors and have now reached a position where an opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic and competent town planner to join the experienced team!
We are seeking a Planner to work alongside the experienced team assisting with multiple planning related services, including preparing, submitting, and administering a wide range of planning applications, advancing land promotions and providing detailed commercial advice to a range of clients and business sectors.
Projects undertaken by the team range from small-scale residential domestic schemes to complex and high-value commercial, retail, residential and leisure developments. The team have over 70 years combined knowledge and commercial expertise in all planning and development related matters, and have a national client base managing a portfolio of projects covering the whole of the UK.
Client is looking for a candidate with ideally 2+ years post qualification experience with a robust understanding of the planning system. They must have an RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a relevant field of study, as well as be eligible for RTPI Chartership (ideally working towards APC).
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, with a flexible and adaptive nature in order to acclimatize to client and business needs. We are seeking a commercially minded individual with a strong customer focus!
