Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of the UK's leading development consultancies on the hire of a Town Planner to their office in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity that can provide opportunities for progression and exposure to a range of project work including large-scale strategic developments!
Clients/Projects
In this role, you will work with public and private sector clients and projects of varying scales and complexity. Projects fall in multiple sectors such as Heritage, Mixed Use, Retail, Care Homes, Infrastructure, Public Sector, Education, Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Logistics and Energy, Minerals and Waste. What variety!
Duties
You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of wide-ranging planning consultancy services, on nominated projects including undertaking public consultation, the preparation, submission and monitoring of planning applications, and collation of evidence for appeals, negotiating applications and moving towards managing your own projects.
Requirements
Candidates should hold an RTPI accredited degree or similar and be working towards or already hold MRTPI. You should have a good knowledge of the UK planning system and preferably some private sector experience, though this is not essential.
You should have the ambition to deliver an exceptional planning service that creates sustainable and successful development for existing and growing client base!
