Senior Planning Officer

Our client is a Local Authority based in East Anglia and they require a degree qualified Town Planner to carry out a role within their Development Management Team. Your work will focus on dealing with a caseload of complex minor and small major planning applications which will range from householder development to small majors (and possibly larger, more complex majors) by way of commercial, listed building and residential applications.

Recent work experience in the field is essential and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.

The role will be offered for an initial 3 month period but is expected to be extended and the rate offered is up to £33/hr and this role is inside IR35. Please get in touch for further information.
