Regeneration Manager

Salary: £45,859 – £46,845 per annum

37 hours per week Mon-Fri

Preston is at an unprecedented stage in its development. With over £20m of Towns Fund grant, major leisure, and public realm projects underway, a new commercial quarter planned at Preston station and the ongoing implementation of the multi-award-winning City Living Strategy, Preston has developed a new confidence for positive change.

This exciting role within the City Development team is at the heart of this major transformation of the city.

The Regeneration Manager will provide effective leadership to the City Development team and as well as taking a direct role in overseeing and coordinating major development projects and programmes.

We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level with previous experience in successfully leading, managing, and delivering on complex economic development projects, programmes, and initiatives to agreed deadlines and within set budgets.

This person will be self-motivated but have the ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team.

This role benefits from a minimum of 29 days’ Annual Leave plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays, access to the council’s Flexi Scheme, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
