These are exciting times for Hart, particularly for the Planning Policy Team. We are considering work for the next Local Plan beyond 2032 and there are several other interesting projects on the horizon. We are also shortly consulting on our draft CIL charging schedule.

Planning is firmly at the heart of the Council’s vision to 2040 and we’re consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the UK.

We're a small local authority with big ambition. We want to do things bigger, bolder, and better than we have before. Our Council is small enough for you to be able to see the direct impact and influence you can have through your day-to-day work and know the names of your colleagues. You will also notice that you get to see the faces of our Senior Leadership and Chief Executives on a regular basis.

For an informal chat, please get in touch with our Planning Policy & Economic Development Manager, Daniel Hawes on daniel.hawes@hart.gov.uk or 01252 774120.

Please include a supporting statement (2 sides of A4) outlining why you are interested in the role and how your knowledge and experience makes you a great candidate.
