Our Busy Enforcement Team are an integrated part of the Development Management service, ensuring a joined up and proactive approach to dealing with breaches of planning control and resolving unacceptable development. We are recruiting a Planner to join the team to undertake a wide range of investigations and manage cases from start to finish. This includes investigation of breaches of planning control and resolving unacceptable development. We are recruiting a Planner to join the team to undertake a wide range of investigations and manage cases from start to finish. This includes investigations of breaches, negotiation to resolve them where possible, dealing with retrospective planning applications, serving relevant Notices, defending appeals, and giving evidence at prosecution proceedings.
This high profile and rewarding role will involve close working with enforcement teams across the Council as well as legal services. We are looking for ambitious people who want to grow and develop their careers.
