Job Details

I am hiring for an two excellent opportunities with a Local Authority in Central England, who are looking to welcome two Principal Planning Officers to the team for an initial 6 month period.

The authority are in need of a highly experienced and capable Officer to oversee applications consisting solely of a complex and large scale nature. Types of applications will range from Greenbelt, to Residential sites.

As well as processing these applications, you will be required to represent the Local Authority at Planning Committee and be able to capably offer expert advice to all third parties involved in the Process (for example Applicants, Councillors, the Public).

Given the priority for experience with the role, my client has insisted to leave the rate open at this stage, and adamant will pay an attractive hourly rate for the right candidate.

We are also in the process of exploring the possibility of the contract being deemed Outside of IR35.

I appreciate this is a brief overview, so if you wish to know more then please do not hesitate to get in touch anytime on 07545079629 or email me at jack@varnomross.com
