At Essex County Council we’re delivering on our plans to ensure long-term economic recovery from Covid-19 and we are taking this opportunity to create a greener, more productive and fairer economy, stronger and more resilient than ever before. Growing our economy and ensuring economic prosperity for the future means attracting and driving investment into the revitalisation and regeneration of our towns and high streets – encouraging quality housing growth, developing more sustainable transport, improving digital outreach across the county and supporting businesses that have been hard hit by the impacts of Covid-19. About the role
This is an exciting new role, working across Essex County Council and Tendring District Council to unlock the great potential in the places and communities of Tendring. Your primary focus will ensure the successful implementation and delivery of key regeneration projects - carrying out research, collating evidence, delivering revenue and capital initiatives, reporting on risks and milestones and fostering partnerships with the many different organisations working across the District. This role demands strategic thinking, but also a rigorous focus on delivery and performance to achieve targeted, measurable outcomes.
With experience of translating concepts into practical objectives and project plans, you are a credible, authoritative leader, adept at developing and delivering coherent programmes of work, with the ability to draw together all of the key stakeholders to align activities towards common goals. You will build great working relationships with local partners in Tendring and across the county to develop a deep understanding of how different partners and services can best work together, to maximise our impact and achieve better outcomes for local people
