Job Details
I am currently working with a Local Authority client in Oxfordshire, who are recruiting for a Senior Planning Officer on an interim basis.
Ideally, they are looking for an experienced Development Management Planner who is capable of taking on a mixed caseload of planning applications, including complex minor and major applications. You would be joining the major projects team and they have some interested developments coming up.
The position will be a 6-month initial contract, very likely to be extended further. They are offering flexible home working/compressed working hours. The Local Authority need someone ASAP and the rate is to be negotiated depending on experience.
The council are looking for a Planner with recent experience working in a Local Authority on planning applications, and who can join the team and very quickly pick up the work. It is fully remote, but you will need to be able to drive for site visits (fortnightly.)
