Smaller towns across the UK have faced challenging economic conditions for many years and this will be intensified following the Covid-19 crisis. Flintshire’s town centres are not immune to this and the Council is proud to be embarking upon an ambitious strategy to support the revival of its town centres and to diversify their uses to facilitate a more sustainable future.

We are looking for an experienced regeneration professional with a strong track record of delivering pioneering or transformational projects in town centres. The post holder will use their skills to engage and enthuse local stakeholders, develop creative and deliverable plans to make the towns more sustainable and vibrant and build delivery partnerships with investors and the business community.

The Council’ needs to work in ways it has not done before and this post  will play a vital and influential role in helping to balance ambition and innovation with pragmatism in developing and delivering the change that Flintshire’s towns need.

If you want our opportunity to create a visible difference whilst also enhancing your experience and making your mark, we want to hear from you.

Funding has been secured for an initial 3 year period.

For an informal discussion please contact Niall Waller, Enterprise and Regeneration Manager on 01352 702137 or niall.waller@flintshire.gov.uk
