Job Details
Vivid are currently working with a Local Authority in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a Planning Officer/Senior DM Officer on a 6 month initial contract with a high chance of extending. The role will be dealing with predominantly minor applications but will include a small amount of householder applications.
The Council are able to offer the role on a fully remote basis apart from site visits but equally if you are able to attend the office should you wish. This is a client Vivid have worked with for years and candidate feedback has always been positive due to the interesting work and friendly working culture.
The Council require the candidate to have at least two years planning experience within Development Management, private sector experience will also be considered.
Start date is ASAP however for the right candidate the Council are happy to wait 6 weeks. This could be a great opportunity someone that's permanent who is looking to step into their first contract role.
The role is also OUTSIDE IR35
