I am working with a Local Authority in Essex who are seeking to bring a Planning Officer to the team to help with a backlog of applications on a Part-time basis for up to a year. You will be dealing with a mixed caseload ranging from Householder applications to Complex Minors.


  • Part Time.
  • £25-£30 per hour - Negotiable DOE.       
  • 9-12 months.
  • Working on Minors and Complex Minors.
  • Inside IR35 but there is scope for the role to go outside.
  • Predominantly working from home - Site visits every 2 weeks or so.


This is a well-situated authority to work for, with strong transport links to both London and the Coast.
