Grade 4 to 7, £20,092 up to £35,745 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. Plus an essential car user allowance
37 hours per week on a permanent contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious candidate to strengthen our Planning Enforcement Team. This career graded post is an excellent opportunity for an experienced enforcement officer or someone who is just starting out in their planning career. Either way, we want to support and develop your skills to perform and progress as a professional officer.
Working as an Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for handling planning enforcement cases, dealing with retrospective planning applications, prosecutions and appeals.
You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable with handling conflict and negotiating solutions to challenging problems. We will also give you the opportunity to broaden your skills and gain valuable experience to support your career development.
It is possible to enter the career grade at any level, provided you meet the entry criteria and welcome applicants at all levels to apply. The career progression scheme explains the expectations for each job level within the scheme.
