Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working closely with a highly regarded Care Home Developer on the hire of a Town Planner.
Our client is a rapidly expanding Yorkshire-based group of companies who offer a great place to work with fantastic employee benefits including, free parking (on all sites), pension and much more.
An experienced Town Planner is required to join a reputable and thriving care home developer. It's a great opportunity to join this close-knit and well-respected planning team. You should be an experienced Town Planner with a background in either a private or public sector setting, working for a consultancy, local authority, developer or land promoter.
About the role:
The position will involve managing planning project work in-house, as part of the team. This will involve initial site appraisals and evaluation; preparation of written reports and statements and submission of all planning application documentation. It will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officer's and any/all parties involved in the application processes and being involved in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.
Requirements to apply
You will need to be at a stage in your career where you are ready to take ownership of projects and therefore our clients expects you will have a minimum of 18 months professional planning experience. A Planning qualification or similar is required and you should be working towards MRTPI submission. You will be offered comprehensive training and support to develop skills and experiences.
