A Local Authority in the beautiful South West are looking to welcome an experienced Principal Planning Officer to their team. This is on an initial 6 month contract, likely to be extended.
The council are looking to recruit an individual who has experience with major residential applications as they have some exciting major projects coming up. A Town Planning related degree or diploma, and exceptional written and communication skills are essential.
The rate depends on previous experience. This role is completely remote working; the suitable person will need to travel for site visits when they find it is necessary to do so, therefore, you will need to have a full driver's licence and access to a car. The council can be extremely flexible in terms of working arrangements and can offer part time.
