We are looking for an experienced, competent individual with knowledge of planning legislation, policy and practices to join our forward-thinking Development Control Function to manage alleged breaches of legislation by liaising with complainants and site owners to seek resolution.

The role of Compliance and Land Manager is a senior position, primarily responsible for managing a team investigating alleged breaches of planning legislation, undertaking site inspections and pursuing formal action where required. Where legal action in planning or other related regulatory areas are pursued the Compliance and Land Manager will be responsible for preparing prosecution case files for consideration by the Attorney General to enforce the law and promote Island wide compliance.

If you have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Planning, Policing and Criminal Justice, Surveying) and knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policy and practice along with problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills we would be very interested to hear from you.

We will also consider applications from those at different career stages who would make a valuable contribution to the team.
