Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with an independent national planning consultancy in Cardiff who are looking to expand their team through the appointment of a Planner.
Due to an expanding workload, our client is looking for a talented, hardworking and enthusiastic Planner to join the team based in Leeds. You will be involved in projects on a nationwide basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career and assist in the delivery of exceptional planning services, across various sectors, including education, residential, retail and major mixed-use and regeneration schemes. We act for many high-profile clients, including some of the country's major land developers, housebuilders and retail operators.
As a result of COVID-19, our client has adopted a flexible working approach, with a mixture of home and office-based working for all employees, a practice that they anticipate continuing for the future. You will receive ongoing support and guidance from our experienced Directors and teams across all of our offices. Our client is committed to providing learning and development opportunities to all and will provide regular internal/external training and CPD webinars and events for all employees.
In terms of attributes, we are seeking candidates who can satisfy the following;
- RTPI accredited degree or a relevant degree
- MRTPI or working towards Chartership
- 1-3 years' experience
- Competent in using Microsoft Office
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Logical thinker
