Job Details
We are working with a local authority in the East Midlands area who are seeking a Planning Officer to join their team, to assist during a busy period.
This role will involve working in Development Management on a mixed caseload of applications, from householders up to larger minor proposals. It is anticipated that this contract will run for 3-6 months, but it is likely to roll on.
Ideally you will have experience in local authority planning (DM) and be able to hit the ground running with a caseload of applications. The rate for this position is negotiable and will depend on your experience. If you can give me an idea of the sort of rate you will be looking for I will try my best to negotiate this for you and can give guidance on how likely this figure is to be achieved.
The manager is looking to conduct interviews next week, for a start ideally ASAP, though they will wait for the right candidate.
