Funding Coordinator (Planning Contributions CIL/S106)
The focus of this role will be coordinating bidding rounds and allocation of S106 and CIL funding to infrastructure and neighbourhood improvement projects. We are looking for somebody of a certain character, with a specific skills-set and a mix of planning, grant funding and infrastructure programming background.
The candidate will be enthusiastic and have a positive perspective regarding community betterment and the contributions developments make in that regard and have a well-established understanding of the associated CIL and S106 funding regimes or comparable regimes. They will be a comfortable communicator, have an eye for detail, be proficient user of modern technology (with very strong IT skills) in all aspects of their work and efficient collector and disseminator of information with excellent written/oral/numeric/organisational and reporting skills. Experience in promotion/communications side of planning and/or regeneration would be helpful (but not essential) such as experience in community engagement exercises for infrastructure, regeneration and/or community investment projects or coordinating funding partnerships between local authorities and third party organisations or internal funding boards.
