Planning Enforcement Officer

Due to internal staff movements, my client is looking for an interim Planning Enforcement Officer or Senior Enforcement Officer to join their team on a 4-6 month contract basis. 

My client's busy planning team has seen a consistent number of enforcement cases coming into the council in recent months and need someone who can hit pick up a caseload of new and existing enforcement cases with minimal assistance. 

The successful applicant will assess breaches of planning control, write up reports and serve notices where needed. 

The role is remote plus site visits as needed and occasional office contact for meetings. They are looking for someone within a reasonable striking distance so they can be reactive if needed. 

Rates will range from £32-£36/h inside IR35.
