Beach Baker are working exclusively with an independent consultancy in Bristol, who are seeking Town Planners (Graduate up to junior Associate level) to join their expanding team.
The firm have grown organically and sustainably since their inception over 4 years ago, with the majority of their workload due to repeat clients and referrals. Having come from corporate firms, the Directors have created (and are keen to retain!) their family-feel environment (they often have BBQs at each other’s houses, go on trips away together etc) and want to get people on board who are gregarious and ambitious, but also sociable and friendly.
Regarding workload, the team are very busy and have a strong pipeline of work for the next 18 months. They have an excellent client-base and primarily work on sites based in the South-West/West of England, including major housebuilders and RPs, institutional funds, hotel and leisure operators and landowners. The schemes range from small to large in size.
As a result of their workload, they are keen to get someone on board who can hit the ground running and help to push the business forward. They have aspirations to continue the growth of the business and are due to open another office by the end of the year. They are looking to appoint 2 people over the coming months and are flexible on level, although ideally you must be / are looking to be accredited by the RTPI.
The base salary offered is competitive and dependent on experience. In addition, they offer a bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave (+ Christmas closure), flexible working, excellent progression opportunities, trips away and more.
