Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Development Management Planning Officer to play a key role in one of London’s most progressive and exciting boroughs.
The role
Lewisham is undergoing huge transformation with unparalleled levels of investment, and a regeneration programme for the area more ambitious than any since the Victorian era. With major developments in Catford, Lewisham, Deptford, New Cross and others across the borough, award winning schemes, two Housing Zones and the Bakerloo Line extension, the transformation is well underway.
We are seeking an experienced planning officers with experience working for a local planning authority wanting to apply their skills and expand their horizons.
The work we have is diverse, exciting and challenging and you will be working with a friendly team that is dedicated, positive and focussed on quality and high performance.
You will make a significant contribution to the regeneration of the borough through the innovative and practical development of proposals for planning permission to ensure that growth and regeneration in the borough is delivered in line with the Development Plan and achieves a high quality design and placemaking.
