We are seeking a Graduate Town Planner. The position is based at our Colchester office, and would involve working on large scale renewable developments, as well as small to medium size residential developments.

A typical week would likely include:

  • Desktop appraisals, report writing and site visits
  • Assisting the Planning Team in the preparation of Planning Applications and supporting documentation
  • Site finding in areas of opportunity for the Group
  • Providing environmental and sustainability support to the Group through production of business unit reports, policy updates and employee engagement
  • Researching policy changes and identifying where these may impact our Group
  • Project management and budgetary controls
  • Building good internal relationships within the Team and Group
  • Liaising with external consultants, statutory consultees and Case Officers.

Enrolment into a funded Town Planning MSc may be offered at your managers discretion in January 2022 or September 2022 depending on performance and career progression.
