About you
As Senior Planning and Development Officer you will have relevant experience of 2 or more years within Planning, specifically experience of development management. You will be a good communicator with the ability to analyses and present issues and write clear and convincing reports. You are able to build relationships and work in partnership with consultees and other stakeholders.
About the Role
As Senior Planning and Development Officer you will be required to provide a high quality development management service and ensure the achievement of government targets, Council objectives and the delivery of the place shaping agenda. This will involve being responsible for handling a case load of the more complex minor planning applications, applications within heritage settings and other related applications. You will provide planning advice in respect of pre-application enquires.
