Job Details
I am currently working with a great local authority based in West Sussex to find a Planning Officer to join their team. The role is offered initially at 6 months and will be on a full time basis, although the Council are happy to change this position to part-time for the right individual.
The role will only require you to make site visits fortnightly, with the option to go in office weekly as the Council would love you to feel like part of the team!
The main duties of the role will be to deal with a varied caseload of householder and minors, across an interesting mix of rural, heritage and conservation applications . Experience within a Development Management team in the public sector is required and experience of such rural areas is desired.
The rate is very competitive and will range from £30-£35/hour.
