They are currently looking for a Planning Enforcement Officer to join their Planning Team on a full-time basis at their Bainbridge office near Leyburn.

As a Planning Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for investigating breaches of planning control and resolving them by negotiation or by planning enforcement procedures.
You will monitor developments to ensure compliance with planning permission, as well as assessing ‘discharge of conditions’ applications.
To join our client as a Planning Enforcement Officer, you will need:
- Experience of working in planning enforcement
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with customers with tact and sensitivity
- Good negotiation skills
- The ability to produce accurate and thorough work
- A driving licence as travel is a requirement of this post
