With the successful launch of our Newcastle office and its continued growth, we're delighted to be recruiting for a talented Town Planner to join us and to support with the continued growth of the Newcastle team and wider business. We have the flexibility to consider Planners at entry level through to Principal level as we seek an enthusiastic professional with a passion for the built environment and sustainability.

Since opening the office in 2019, the Newcastle Team have successfully completed an array of diverse projects in residential, commercial and leisure schemes with a wide-ranging portfolio of clients. With the success of business it has allowed for new areas of growth and as a result the team have now moved to a new location at Gainsborough House, a refurbished Grade II Listed building on Grey Street with plenty of room for further progression.

You will be responsible for providing high quality planning advice and guidance to various clients in a range of sectors in relation to all aspects of planning. This will involve preparing, evaluating and submitting large, complex planning applications and appeals, and consulting with local authorities, landowners and developers.

Person Specification

Ideally you will hold an RTPI accredited degree or a similar relevant degree and be a Chartered member of the RTPI or working towards (we will offer you support throughout the APC process). We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with strong professional and business acumen with good knowledge and experience (at least 1 year or more) in planning practice and applications.
