I am currently working with a Local Authority based in Berkshire who are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to be responsible for the timetabled delivery of the Councils Local Plan. It is a 6 month initial contract which may be extended further should everything go well.



Within this role the suitable person will be responsible for Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action in consultation with the Planning Policy Manager and Team Leaders. Also tracking the implementation of Board decisions and maintaining a Forward Plan over the duration of the programme. Coordinating the preparation of a project and programme plans, risks and issues logs, highlight reports, exception reports and required PMM documentation.



This role has flexibility for remote working and the rate is dependent on previous experience. The role has been deemed inside IR35. The hiring manager is collecting CV's ASAP with a view to review at the end of the week.
