Penguin Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Urban Designer to join its highly regarded Urban Design Studio in Cambridge.
Our client's Urban Design team is committed to helping shape the built environment of the future, whether it's new villages and science parks, commercial developments or university colleges. Our client works across the country on multi-team projects where they link in seamlessly with colleagues in the wider planning, heritage, project management, residential development and rural teams to offer an invaluable end-to-end service for their clients.
The successful individual will get involved with a wide variety of activities to support the delivery of core services including Master Planning; Rural Development; LVIA and Assessment; Landscape Design and Learning Environments. Whether you are a specialist in one or all of these areas, I would like to hear from you.
Essential requirements:
- Previous project experience in Urban Design.
- Professional experience in an urban design or design practice or in a relevant area in Central or Local Government, with working experience of the English Planning System.
- Experience in the preparation of Concept Plans, Master Plans, Photomontages, 3D Visualisations.
