Job Details
I am currently working on a Senior Planning Officer role with a Local Authority based in the beautiful Gloucestershire area who are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Officer to join the team. It would be an initial 3-6 month contract, with a view to roll on longer than this.
The council are looking for a planner to join the Development Management team and assist with mainly complex minor/small major applications. The role has been created to provide some additional capacity to help reduce workloads. This is an exciting opportunity as the county has a lot of interesting developments coming up. Experience with presenting at committee is desired.
The rate is £37 per hour, although there may be some room for negotiation for the perfect candidate. The Council is offering remote working with a need for site visits when required.
