Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a recognised leader in the development sector on the hire of a Development Control Planner! Our client is one of the UK's leading house builders operating from over 30 offices and builds around 15,000 new homes each year.
In this role you will join the busy Technical Team in Cornwall and cover the company's South West region (comprising Plymouth and Cornwall). This is the perfect opportunity to establish a career in a national PLC in a supportive company that will help you achieve your ambitions (the company has a long history of developing careers and promoting Planners to senior positions within the business).
In order to apply you should hold a relevant degree (town planning or similar), MRTPI (or ability to apply) and 5+ years of experience (which can come from the public or private sector). In addition, we are looking to speak with people who are self-motivated, committed, holds a team player ethic and strong communication/negotiation skills.
