A rare and exciting opportunity has a risen to join the Planning Enforcement Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to investigate breaches of planning control and undertake the necessary action to ensure compliance with planning legislation.

As a member of the Planning Enforcement Team you need to be a team player, self-motivated, an organised person and be calm under pressure.  Duties will include the investigation of alleged breaches and offences, preparation of enforcement notices and files for prosecution, and attending court when necessary to give evidence on behalf of the Council.  Greater Cambridge has a number of listed buildings, conservation areas and a mixture of rural and urban areas so the work is varied and exciting.
