Senior Planning Officer

I am currently working exclusively with a Local Authority around the North West who are looking for a Senior Planning Officer on a 6-month initial contract.

The role will be predominantly dealing with Minor Applications and Majors up to 40 units but there will be the opportunity to work on some larger applications should you wish.

The council are fully equipped for home working and there is no expectation of visiting the office or conducting site visits, although you can attend the office should you wish.

The council have low staff turnover and a friendly working culture. The authority will consider candidates with 3 years + experience within Development Management and will consider candidates nationwide.

The authority are looking to appoint someone in the next two weeks but could wait up to six weeks for an exceptional candidate. Candidate who are currently working in a permanent contract will also be considered.
