Arboricultural/Tree Officer

2x Tree Officers (Berkshire & Hampshire)
6-Month Contracts - 37 hours per week
Pay rate - DOE
Remote working mixed with site work
 
Carrington West are recruiting for two experienced Tree Officers for our Local Authority clients based in Hampshire and Berkshire.
 
Important criteria for the Berkshire based role:
 
·Full Clean Driving licence required
·Some flexibility in working up to 2 days remote working, remainder of week on site.
·Ideal candidate will be a qualified Tree Officer, with sound arboricultural knowledge and experience of planning
·Experience working with multiple departments
·Sound arboricultural knowledge for advising planning applications
 
Important criteria for the Hampshire based role:
 
·Carry out essential tree preservation order related duties, reviews and processing tree work applications, process and review tree related planning applications.
·Preparing and serving Tree Preservation Orders.
·Processing applications for works on protected trees and monitoring on going works.
·Liaising with Development Control concerning the impact of development on trees.
·Monitoring works on development sites with regard to tree protection.
·Preparing and presenting reports to Council meetings
·Inspecting city trees as part of phased programmes or in response to public enquiries, identifying and initiating work requirements in line with Council policy.
·Ensuring that work is completed within required time scales and that it meets appropriate performance standards.
