Job Details
An East Midlands based Local Planning Authority are in the market for a Planning Officer, for an initial 3-month contract while the council deals with an influx in applications.
The council are offering a lucrative contract of £30+ an hour, which will be for a minimum of 3 months. The council is offering full remote working, except site visits which can be conducted on a fortnightly basis.
The role will involve working predominantly on Householder applications.
Successful candidates will have practical experience as a Development Management Planner assisting with the delivery and implementation of Local Plans, managing external consultants and coordinating consultation exercises. You will have excellent written and communication skills with a degree in Town & Country Planning or an affiliated subject.
The ideal Planner will be self-sufficient and be able to work effectively independently and must be able to work efficiently and complete work to a high standard.
