Job Details
I am currently working with an East Midlands based Local Planning Authority, who are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join the team during a busy time for the authority. You would be working on a caseload of smaller major applications, up to approx. 50 dwellings. There is also an upcoming large-scale commercial application in the pipeline for the area. The contract will run for between 6-9 months, with a possible view for the contract to be extended beyond this.
Ideally you will have experience in local authority planning (DM) and be able to hit the ground running with a caseload of applications. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team of Planners on a contract basis, with the potential for it to turn into a more permanent solution.
The manager is looking to conduct telephone interviews and face to face interviews next week, for a start ideally ASAP, though they will wait for the right candidate.
The rate for this position will be around £35p/h however, they may pay more dependant on experience. The manager has indicated that they are happy to hold telephone or video interview as soon as possible, so please do apply if you are interested!
