Job Details

Vivid are working with a council based in the North West to find a Planning Officer to join their development management team. The role will be offered initially at 4 months, with a view to extend. The client can offer remote working with the exception of occasional site visits. The rate payable is DOE but will likely sit between £28-£32p/h.

The main duties of the role will be to deal with a mixed caseload of minor and householder cases.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience within a development management team in the public sector
  • Experience of dealing with applications 
  • A driving licence and, ideally, access to a car for site visits
