Job Details
Main Responsabilities
To deal with planning applications, pre-applications and associated appeals.
To process, investigate and report on applications for planning permission and all other consents and certificates under the Planning Acts, as directed, and to liaise with other Teams, Divisions, and departments as appropriate.
To deal personally with planning applications (and pre-application discussions), appeals and enforcement cases;
To prepare written reports and recommendations for clearance by Senior Officers for submission to the appropriate Council committees.
The role will be home based for the time being, with weekly travel to the area for sites and minimal office presence for training and collecting equipment, etc.
Rates will depend on experience and the level of interest they receive, but will fall between £20 and £28/h, inside IR35.
