Grade 14, (£44,790 - £46,839) plus Market supplement (£4,338 fte) and Key Worker payment (£2,633 fte)

The post holder would project manage some of the largest developments that Croydon has to offer from Pre Application, to Planning Applications and through to post decision matters. Dealing with schemes which are high profile, sensitive and complex in nature. You will also have direct line management responsibilities, delegated decision making powers and be involved in identifying and implementing Service improvements.

The successful candidate will need to be a talented, politically astute, enthusiastic, motivated, experienced and knowledgeable individual who demonstrates practical experience of comprehensively assessing all aspects of development proposals with a sound understanding of Planning Policy and Legislation. Moreover, you will need to be solution focussed and resilient in a pressurised environment and will need to be exceptionally skilled in the various negotiation and communication techniques (across all mediums).
