Planning Director

Our client is a leading Planning Consultancy in the UK. They have recovered from the pandemic and are bold and ambitious about their growth strategy for the next few years. Their work is primarally housing-led but they also offer planning services to a wide range of other industries such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Retail, Health and Leisure, Healthcare, Education and Environmental & Sustainability.

They are looking to hire potentially two Directors to help grow their business and to help build up even stronger teams of consultants. This is a great opportunity to bring your skills and network to a business that is really looking to expand in the next few years. 

You will have housing projects immediately to get on with delivering but you should also have a desire to grow a team and to network and source new work through business development. As such you must have a proven track record at consultancy level. You should have been responsible for Planning Consultants in the past also and be keen to grow your department through the hiring of excellent consultants, which you will help integrate into the business.

The client is able to offer a flexible working pattern that will include both office and home-working. However you will need to be in London for part of your week. Alternatively their Birmingham office could also be your base. The salary is wide open for this role and the client is only looking to improve the salary and benefits of applicants.
