Associate Director - (Manchester)

Osborne Richardson is delighted to be working with an award-winning planning consultancy, in finding an experienced Associate Director. The company is currently involved in a wide range of projects from medium scale to large-scale residential schemes. Our client is looking for a driven professional to play a key role in driving the North West team forward.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Overseeing the growth of the current team, together with current Directors
• Project managing a broad mix of planning submissions and appeals
• Being aware of how new policies will relate to planning schemes, including residential, commercial and mixed-use projects
• Participate in public inquiries

It is essential that candidates have:

• Proven planning experience of at least 7 years
• Good professional writing skills
• Ability to present reasoned advice in formal and informal environments
• Experience in preparing, submitting and negotiating a range of planning applications
• Ability to manage workload, budgets and project co-ordination (with sub-consultants)
• Enthusiasm, thoroughness, honesty and commitment
