Senior Economic Development Officer

Osborne Richardson has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Economic Development Officer to join our local authority client. The role sits within the Economy Transport & Environment and will require you to assist our client with the delivery of their economic development and regeneration service with a focus on economic development funding across the borough.

Specifically for this role our client is looking for someone with a town centre regeneration background, ideally with a focus on the arts, culture, heritage or visitor economy. You will work on a number of our client's current live projects including the Development of a Cultural Framework, funding bids for Community Renewal Fund and Levelling Up Fund and support for the High Street Task Force.

The role will be well suited to those with a background in economic development or regeneration. Confidence, good communication skills and a positive approach to work are essential in this role.

This role is with a local authority based in East Midlands and the initial contract will be offered for 3 months. The pay rate will be at least up to £21/hr (umbrella). Please get in touch for further details including a copy of the JD.
