Senior Planning Officer / Planning Officer (Development Management)

My Client based in East Anglia has reached out as they are looking for a full time permanent Senior Planning Officer (DM) and Planning Officer (DM) to initially join as an interim member of staff with the view of joining permanently once the contract finishes.

Senior – Grade 8 - £35,745 - £38,890

Candidates will have a Membership of (or eligibility for) the Royal Town Planning Institute or equivalent plus at least two years’ experience gained in a local planning authority and/or private practice working commensurate with levels 3 or 4. They will have a thorough understanding of the purpose and function of Planning, a sound knowledge of Planning Legislation and a thorough knowledge of Development Management Legislation.

Planner – Grade 7 - £32,234 - £34,728

Candidates should hold a qualification recognised by the Royal Town Planning Institute or equivalent plus some experience of Town and Country Planning gained in a local authority and/or private practice.

• Currently all working from home and this is to continue with occasional visits to one of the office buildings. Now carrying out site visits.
