Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a small but expanding Planning Consultancy that is looking to appoint a Town Planner to become part of their busy team in Bury St Edmunds.
Join a practice led by two experienced Directors and access projects in the residential, commercial, leisure, agricultural and equestrian sectors. You will advise a varied client base through offering a number of services which includes;
-Planning Applications
-Appeals (including Expert Witness)
-The use of permitted development rights
-Obtaining certificates of lawful use and development
-Development involving listed buildings and development in Conservation Areas
-Objections to development proposals
Job requirements
My client expects that you will be a Town Planner with 2-6 year's experience which can come from either the public or private sector (however private sector experience is desirable). You should be chartered with the RTPI and be passionate about Planning. You will be a highly motivated individual, with strong ambitions. The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge and understanding of the UK Planning Process.
