Job Details
I am currently on an exciting opportunity with a Local Authority based in the South East of the country who are looking for an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join the team on a fully remote basis. It would be an initial 3-6 month contract, with a view to roll on longer than this.
The Council need a Principal Planner to join the major applications team to work on up to 200 units, some experience with mentoring junior members of staff would be looked upon favourably. A Town Planning related degree or diploma, and exceptional written and communication skills are essential.
The rate is up for negotiation, depending on previous experience. The IR35 is undetermined at this point, so there is a possibility for it to go OUTSIDE IR35. The Council is offering complete remote working, so no need to travel for site visits. They will consider full time or part time candidates.
