Job Details
I am currently working with an East Anglia based Local Authority, who are looking for an experienced DM Planning Officer to join their team on an interim basis. The role will be for an initial 3-months, though is highly likely to be extended due to the current applications coming through the authority.
The successful applicant will need to be able to hit the ground running, working on a mixed bag of planning applications. These would go up to and include residential applications of around 10 dwellings, with householder, change of use etc. applications as well. Knowledge and experience of using Uniform would be preferable but is not essential.
Given the location of the post, the council have agreed that this position will be 100% remote. Current, permanent members of staff will be able to post site notices and perform site visits on your behalf. You will require access to your IT equipment for this position. Of course, if you are able to perform your own site visits, this is also allowed!
The rate will be between £27p/h and £33p/h; this is dependent on the successful applicants experience.
