Your new company

You will be working in a close-knit and vibrant team. This consultancy is based in London, they were a finalist for the RTPI planning excellence last year. They are currently working closely with a few councils around London and Private companies on medium to large scale projects.

Your new role
As a Town Planner you will be responsible for a diverse caseload including householder applications, householder appeals, minor developments, pre-application submission, case reviews, Enforcement. Managing junior members of staff, changes of use, residential and commercial development.

As part of your role you be asked to handle new inquiries from clients, research, preparing appeal statements, submitting planning appeals, submitting planning applications, undertaking site visits, informal hearings, and public Inquiries.

What you'll need to succeed

For this role you will have a minimum of 3 years experience as a planning officer/consultant and either be a member of the RTPI or working towards membership. You will be a team player, have great communication skills with the ability to give advice to clients and to liaise with key stakeholders. You will be skilled at report writing and preparing statements.

You must be able to manage your workload and have a sound knowledge of the UK Town Planning system.
