Vivid are working with a Local Authority based in the Northern Home Counties to find a DM Manager to join their busy Planning team on a 3-6 month contract. 

The main responsibilities will be: 

  • Management of the busy DM service, including major and non-major developments, enforcement and technical support.
  • Managing the performance of the team
  • Ensuring significant development proposals are appropriately resourced and managed
  • Overseeing service delivery, monitoring service budget and authorising expenditure on external consultancy services.

Ideally, the authority are keen to secure the services of a consultant for an April start, but are open to consider an early start date should it be requested. 

Rate is dependent on experience but will likely start at around £50/hr.
